Backup & restore: LG Optimus F3Q

Learn how to back up and restore apps, contacts, photos, and data on the LG Optimus F3Q.

 

 

 

Back up apps

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps > LG Backup.
  2. If accessing this application for the first time, review the introduction.
  3. Review the End User License Agreement information, and then tap Agree.
  4. Tap Manual backup, select the backup location, then tap Next.
  5. Tap New backup, enter a name for the backup file, then tap Next.
  6. Select the check boxes for the following options:
    • LG Home screen
    • Personal data
    • LG Apps
    • Settings
    • Downloaded apps
  7. Tap Backup > OK.

 

Back up contacts

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps > LG Backup.
  2. If accessing this application for the first time, review the introduction.

Back up contacts to SD card

  1. From the Home screen, tap Contacts.
  2. Tap the Menu key, then Import/Export.
  3. Tap Export to SD card.

 

Back up media & pictures

  1. Connect the device to a computer using the USB cable.
  2. When prompted, tap Media sync (MTP).
  3. On your PC computer, an 'AutoPlay' window will appear. Click Open device to view files using Windows Explorer.
  4. Navigate to the desired media and picture files stored on your phone.
  5. Drag and drop the music files from your phone to a folder on your computer.
  6. When you are done copying, click the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the system tray.
  7. Click Safely Remove Mass Storage Device > OK.
  8. Disconnect the device from the computer.

 

Restore apps

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps > Backup > Restore.
  2. Select a backup file from the list and tap Restore.
  3. Review the warning information and then tap Yes. The device will restart.

 

Restore contacts

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps > Backup > Restore.
  2. Select a backup file from the list and tap Restore.
  3. Review the warning information and then tap Yes. The device will restart.

 

Restore media & pictures

  1. Connect the device to a computer using the USB cable.
  2. When prompted, tap Media sync (MTP).

  4. Navigate to the desired media and picture files stored on your phone.
  5. Drag and drop the music files from your phone to a folder on your computer.
  6. When you are done copying, click the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the system tray.

  8. Disconnect the device from the computer.
