Attach a file and send an email

 

Gmail

 

Android Lollipop

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Gmail.
  3. Tap Compose.
  4. Enter recipient email address in the To field.
  5. Enter subject in the Subject field.
  6. Enter message text in the Compose email field.
  7. Tap the paperclip.
  8. Tap Attach file.
  9. Select the file location:
    • Drive
    • Images
    • Audio
    • Downloads
    • Sound picker
    • Gallery
    • Photos
    • Dropbox
    • Samsung link
  10. Navigate to desired file, then tap to insert.
  11. Tap Send.

 

Android Marshmallow

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Gmail.
  3. Tap Compose.
  4. Enter recipient email address in the To field.
  5. Enter subject in the Subject field.
  6. Enter message text in the Compose email field.
  7. Tap the paperclip.
  8. Tap Attach file.
  9. Select the file location:
    • Drive
    • Images
    • Audio
    • Downloads
    • Sound picker
    • Gallery
    • Photos
    • Dropbox
    • Samsung link
  10. Navigate to desired file, then tap to insert.
  11. Tap Send.

  4. Tap the check box next to each message.
  5. Tap the trash can.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Gmail.
  3. Tap Inbox to select desired account (if necessary).
  4. Tap MORE.
  5. Tap Edit.
  6. Tap the check box next to each message.
  7. Tap the trash can.

Email

  3. Tap Inbox to select desired account (if necessary).
  4. Tap the check box next to each message.
  5. Tap the trash can.
  6. Tap Delete.

  5. Tap Edit
  6. Tap the check box next to each message.
