Wi-Fi calling: Samsung Galaxy S 6 edge

Learn how to set up and use Wi-Fi calling and set connection preferences on the Samsung Galaxy S 6 edge.

 

 

 

Turn on & connect

To use Wi-Fi calling, you must first register an E911 address and enable Wi-Fi.

 

  1. Register E911 address at My T-Mobile.
  2. Turn on Wi-Fi.
  3. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
  4. Tap Settings.
  5. Under 'Connections,' tap More connection settings.
  6. Tap Wi-Fi Calling.
  7. Tap the Wi-Fi Calling switch to ON.

 

Set connection preference

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Under 'Connections,' tap More connection settings.
  4. Tap Wi-Fi Calling.
  5. Tap desired connection preference:
    • Wi-Fi Preferred
    • Cellular Network Preferred
    • Never use Cellular Network
