Email accounts: Samsung Galaxy S 6 edge

Use these steps to add email accounts on the Samsung Galaxy S 6 edge.

Add

 

Android 6.0 Marshmallow

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Accounts.
  4. Tap +Add account.
  5. Select the account type you wish to setup.
  6. Enter your email address and password.
  7. Edit incoming email configuration settings, as necessary.
  8. Tap Next.
  9. Edit outgoing email configuration settings, as necessary.
  10. Tap Next .
  11. Read the Google disclaimer and tap OK to accept.
  12. Set the email check frequency, retrieval size, and notification options, as desired.
  13. Tap Next .
  14. Enter an account name (optional).
  15. Tap Done

 

Android 7.0 Nougat

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Cloud and accounts.
  4. Tap Accounts.
  5. Tap +Add account.
  6. Select the account type you wish to setup.
  7. Enter your email address and password.
  8. Edit incoming email configuration settings, as necessary.
  9. Tap Next.
  10. Edit outgoing email configuration settings, as necessary.
  11. Tap Next .
  12. Read the Google disclaimer and tap OK to accept.
  13. Set the email check frequency, retrieval size, and notification options, as desired.
  14. Tap Next .
  15. Enter an account name (optional).
  16. Tap Done

 

Delete

 

Android 6.0 Marshmallow

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Accounts.
  4. Select the account type you wish to delete.
  5. Tap the MORE icon.
  6. Tap Remove account.
  7. Tap REMOVE ACCOUNT to confirm.

 

Android 7.0 Nougat

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Cloud and accounts.
  4. Tap Accounts.
  5. Select the account type you wish to delete.
  6. Tap the Menu icon.
  7. Tap Remove account.
  8. Tap REMOVE ACCOUNT to confirm.
