Attach a file and send an email

Android Lollipop

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Gmail.
  3. Tap Compose.
  4. Enter recipient email address in the To field.
  5. Enter subject in the Subject field.
  6. Enter message text in the Compose email field.
  7. Tap the paperclip.
  8. Tap Attach file.
  9. Select the file location:
    • Drive
    • Images
    • Audio
    • Downloads
    • Sound picker
    • Gallery
    • Photos
    • Dropbox
    • Samsung link
  10. Navigate to desired file, then tap to insert.
  11. Tap Send.

Email

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Email.
  3. Tap Compose.
  4. Enter recipient email address in the To field.
  5. Enter email subject the Subject field.
  6. Enter message text in the Compose email field.
  7. Tap the paperclip.
