Change SIM PIN

 

Android Lollipop

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Lock screen and security.
  4. Tap Other security settings.
  5. Under 'SIM card lock,' tap Set up SIM card lock.
  6. Tap Change SIM card PIN.
  7. Enter current SIM PIN (default = 1234), then tap OK.
  8. Enter new SIM PIN, then tap OK.
  9. Confirm new SIM PIN, then tap OK.

 

Android Marshmallow

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Lock screen and security.
  4. Tap Other security settings.
  5. Under 'SIM card lock,' tap Set up SIM card lock.
  6. Tap Change SIM card PIN.
  7. Enter current SIM PIN (default = 1234), then tap OK.
  8. Enter new SIM PIN, then tap OK.
  9. Confirm new SIM PIN, then tap OK.

 

Turn on / off SIM PIN

The SIM PIN code can protect your SIM from being used in other devices. When you turn on the SIM PIN lock, the device prompts you to enter the code after turning it on.

  5. Under 'SIM card lock,' tap Set up SIM card lock.
  6. Tap the Lock SIM card slider to ON or OFF.
