Manage calls: Samsung Galaxy Note Edge

Learn how to block calls, set or cancel call forwarding, and manage Caller ID and the call log on the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.

 

 

Block calls

  1. From the Home screen, tap Phone.
  2. Tap Menu.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Call rejection.
  5. Tap Auto reject.
  6. Add desired number.

 

Unblock calls

  1. From the Home screen, tap Phone.
  2. Tap Menu.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Call rejection.
  5. Tap Auto reject.
  6. Tap the minus sign next to the number.

 

Call forwarding unconditional

Call Forwarding Unconditional (CFU) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number without allowing the device to ring.

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap Phone.
  2. Tap Menu.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap More settings.
  5. Tap Call forwarding.
  6. Tap Always forward.
  7. Enter phone number to forward calls to.
  8. Tap Turn on.

 

Call forwarding conditional

Call Forwarding Conditional (CFC) forwards incoming calls to another phone number if you do not or cannot answer them (no reply, busy, unavailable).

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap Phone.
  2. Tap Menu.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap More settings.
  5. Tap Call forwarding.
  6. Tap desired forwarding option:
    • Forward when busy
    • Forward when unanswered
    • Forward when unreachable
  7. Enter phone number to forward calls to.
  8. Tap Update.

 

Cancel call forwarding

  1. From the Home screen, tap Phone.
  2. Tap Menu.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap More settings.
  5. Tap Call forwarding.
  6. Tap Always forward.
  7. Tap Turn off.

 

Caller ID settings

  1. From the Home screen, tap Phone.
  2. Tap Menu.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap More settings.
  5. Tap Caller ID.
  6. Tap desired setting to view or edit:
    • Network default
    • Hide number
    • Show number

 

Reset call log

  1. From the Home screen, tap Phone.
  2. Tap Logs.
  3. Tap Menu.
  4. Tap Delete.
  5. Tap the Select log items check box.
  6. Tap Delete.

 

View call log

  1. From the Home screen, tap Phone.
  2. Tap Logs.
  3. View the list of calls.
  4. Tap a call to view its details.
