      • Calls and text messages will be made from the connected smartphone MSISDN.
      • This connection mode requires Bluetooth to be turned on and the devices to be in range of reach other.
      • Confirm that the Wearable MSISDN displays as the Call forwarding number when the two devices are next to each other (Gear S > Settings > Call > Auto call forwarding > Turn on (check/uncheck) > Number setting (displays the Wearable MSISDN)).
    • Standalone mode
      • Incoming calls or texts can be from the connect smartphone MSISDN or from the Wearable MSISDN. Outgoing calls or texts will be sent from the Wearable MSISDN when you reply.
      • Standalone mode will automatically turn on when the Wearable and connected smartphone are out of range of each other or if the Bluetooth connection has been manually disabled.
      • Confirm that the Wearable MSISDN displays as the Auto call forwarding number (Connected smartphone > Samsung Gear Manager app > Settings > CALL > Auto call forwarding > Turn on (check/uncheck) > Number setting (displays the Wearable MSISDN)).

Without SIM setup (no Call Forwarding features)

If there is no SIM activated or no active Wearable plan on the account, the Gear S2 will function only over Bluetooth as a companion device. Incoming or outgoing calls and texts will be from the connected smartphone's MSISDN only.
