Learn how to block calls, set or cancel call forwarding, and manage caller ID and the call log on the LG G4.

 

 

 

Block calls

To block incoming calls from a number, follow these steps:

 

Note: To block any incoming call that is not added to the reject list, touch the red Phone icon and drag it to the left. To block the call but provide a message, touch Reject call with message and drag up.

 

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Call > Call reject.
  4. Reject calls from, then + add icon.
  5. Select one of the following:
    • Contacts
      • Select the desired contact, then tap Done.
    • Call logs
      • Select the desired call log entry, then tap Done.
    • New number
      • Enter the phone number, then tap Save.

 

Unblock calls

To allow incoming calls from a number you previously blocked, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Call > Call reject.
  4. Tap Reject calls from.
  5. Tap the trash can.
  6. Select the number(s) you want to unblock.
  7. Tap DELETE.
  8. Tap YES.

 

Call forwarding unconditional

Call Forwarding Unconditional (CFU) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number without allowing the device to ring.

 

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Call.
  4. Scroll to INCOMING CALL and then tap Call forwarding.
  5. Tap Always forward.
  6. Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to.
  7. To select a number from a saved contact, tap the Contacts icon.
  8. Tap Turn on.

 

Call forwarding conditional

Call Forwarding Conditional (CFC) forwards incoming calls to another phone number if you do not or cannot answer them (no reply, busy, unavailable).

 

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Call.
  4. Scroll to INCOMING CALL and then tap Call forwarding.
  5. Under FORWARD IF, select from the following:
    • Busy
    • Unanswered
    • Unreachable
  6. If necessary, edit the phone number you want to forward calls to.
  7. To select a number from a saved contact, tap the Contacts icon.
  8. Tap Update.

 

Cancel call forwarding

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Call.
  4. Scroll to INCOMING CALL and then tap Call forwarding.
  5. Tap Always forward.
  6. Tap Turn off.

 

Caller ID settings

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. If using Tab view, tap Menu > List view.
  4. Tap Call > Additional settings.
  5. Tap Caller ID, then choose an option:
    • Network default
    • Hide number
    • Show number

 

Reset call log

  1. From any home screen, tap Phone.
  2. Tap Call logs.
  3. Tap Menu > Clear all.
  4. Tap YES.

 

View call log

Call logs may approximate the amount of time you have spent on phone calls, but they do not accurately show how much time T-Mobile bills.

 

  1. From any home screen, tap Phone.
  2. Tap Call logs.
  3. Tap a call to view more details.
