Keyboard: LG Leon

Learn how to customize text entry and default keyboard settings on the LG Leon.

 

 

 

Change default keyboard

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. If using Tab view, tap Menu > List view.
  4. Under PERSONAL, tap Language & input.
  5. Tap Default > Select input methods.
  6. Next to LG Keyboard, tap the Settings icon.
  7. Update the following SMART INPUT settings as necessary:
    • Path input
    • Word suggestions
    • Auto-correction

 

Enter symbols & numbers

  • Tap the smiley1# key.
  • Tap the number and symbol keys as necessary.
  • Tap Menu > Insert smiley to access emoticons.
  • Tap the abc key to return to the alphabet keyboard.

 

Text entry mode

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. If using Tab view, tap Menu > List view.
  4. Under PERSONAL, tap Language & input.
  5. Tap Default > SELECT MORE.
  6. Next to LG Keyboard, tap the Settings icon.
  7. Tap More.
  8. Update the INPUT TOOLS settings as necessary:
    • Auto-capitalization
    • Auto-punctuation

 

Turn on / off haptic (vibration) feedback

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. If using Tab view, tap Menu > List view.
  4. Under PERSONAL, tap Language & input.
  5. Tap Default > Setup input methods.
  6. Next to LG Keyboard, tap the Settings icon.
  7. Tap Additional settings.
  8. Under EFFECT, select or clear the vibrate options as necessary.
