Contacts: Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Use these steps to manage contacts and caller groups on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

 

 

 

Add contact

  1. From any Home screen, tap Contacts.
  2. Tap the Contacts tab.
  3. Tap the + plus sign.
  4. Choose location to save contact:
    • Device
    • SIM card
    • Google
    • Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync
  5. Enter details into the Name, Phone, and Email fields.
  6. If desired, tap to enter additional contact information.
  7. When done, tap Save

 

Add contact to speed dial

  1. From any Home screen, tap Phone.
  2. If necessary, tap the Keypad tab.
  3. Tap the Menu icon in the top right.
  4. Tap Speed dial.
  5. Tap the number you want to assign the speed dial number.
  6. Tap the contact you want to assign to the speed dial number.

 

Add number to caller group

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Contacts.
  3. Tap the Groups tab and then tap a group.
  4. Tap Add and then tap the contact(s) you want to add.
  5. Tap Done.

 

Export / Import contacts

Export moves contacts from the SD card or SIM card. Import moves contacts to the SD card or SIM card.

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap Contacts.
  2. Tap the Contacts tab.
  3. Tap the Menu icon.
  4. Tap Settings.
  5. Tap Contacts.
  6. Tap Import/Export.
  7. Choose an option below and then follow any additional prompts:
    • Import from USB storage
    • Export to USB storage
    • Import from SD card
    • Export to SD card
    • Import from SIM card
    • Export to SIM card

 

Create caller group

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Contacts.
  3. Tap the Groups tab and then tap a group.
  4. Tap Add and then tap the contact(s) you want to add.
  5. Tap Done.

 

Delete contact

  1. From any Home screen, tap Contacts.
  2. Tap the Contacts tab.
  3. Tap the Menu icon.
  4. Tap Delete.
  5. Select the check box next to each contact you want to delete.
  6. Tap Done.
  7. Tap OK.
