SIM card: Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Learn how to manage SIM messages on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

 

 

 

Insert/remove SIM

This device supports a Micro-GBA size SIM card.

  1. Remove the back cover using the slot on the top of your phone.

  2. Lift the cover up and to the right of the phone.

  3. Check that the card’s gold contacts face the phone and that the angled corner of the card is positioned as shown.

  4. To insert it, carefully slide the SIM card into until the card locks into place in the SIM card slot.
  5. To remove it, firmly press it in and release it (until it pops out) and slide it out of the SIM card slot.
  6. Replace the cover.

 

Delete SIM messages

  1. From any Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Tap the Menu key.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Text Messages.
  5. Tap Manage SIM card messages.
  6. Tap the Menu key.
  7. Tap Delete.
  8. Tap each message to be deleted or Select all.
  9. Tap Delete.
  10. Tap OK.

 

View free SIM space

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Scroll to 'SYSTEM,' then tap Storage.
  4. Under 'Device Memory,' view the following:
    • Total space
    • System memory
    • Used space
    • Cached data
    • Miscellaneous files
    • Available space
