Data usage: Samsung Galaxy Avant

Use these steps to support data usage on the Samsung Galaxy Avant.

 

 

 

Data usage indicator

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Under NETWORK CONNECTIONS, tap Data usage.
  4. To turn on a data usage limit:
    1. Select the Set mobile data limit check box, then tap OK.
    2. A new horizontal red bar appears in the graph.
    3. Touch and drag the red bar up or down to the desired data amount.
    4. When you reach this data amount, your data connection is automatically disabled.
  5. To change the data usage limit:
    1. From the graph, touch and drag the red bar to the desired data usage setting.
    2. If you exceed this setting, your data connection is automatically disabled.
    3. To turn off a data usage limit, clear Set mobile data limit check box.
    4. To set a data usage warning, touch and drag the orange bar.
    5. A warning does not automatically disable your data connection.
    6. You will receive a notification in the status bar.

 

View data usage by app

  1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Under NETWORK CONNECTIONS, tap Data usage.
  4. Tap the field next to Data usage cycle to select the desired time period.
  5. Swipe up to view the data usage by application.
