Manage shared content

Manage your shared content and permissions of nearby devices. Your device can read NFC tag information from another NFC device or printed tag.

 

  1. Turn on NFC on your device.
    1. From any home screen, tap Apps.
    2. Tap Settings.
    3. Tap NFC.
    4. Tap the NFC switch ON.
  2. Place the rear of your phone against the rear of the other device or against the printed tag. Your device should vibrate or sound a confirmation depending on the settings.
  3. If necessary, follow any prompts (for example, if you are receiving a contact, you must select where to save the contact).

 

Turn share on / off

You can turn media sharing on or off.

 

  1. Turn on and connect to Wi-Fi
  2. From any home screen, tap Apps.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Under CONNECT AND SHARE, tap Nearby devices.
  5. Tap the Nearby Devices switch to the ON/OFF position.
  6. If streaming is on, under ADVANCED, tap each section to share:
    • Content to share
      • Videos
      • Photos
      • Music
    • Allowed devices
    • Denied devices
    • Download to
      • Device
      • SD card
    • Receive files from other phones
      • Always accept
      • Always ask
      • Always reject
