Manage messages: Samsung Galaxy Tab S

Learn how to block, delete, and save SMS / MMS messages on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S.

 

 

 

Block / unblock messages or spam

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Messaging.
  3. Tap the message.
  4. To block, tap Menu > Add to spam numbers.
  5. To unblock, tap Menu > Remove from spam numbers.
  6. Tap OK.

 

Delete picture messages (MMS)

  1. From any home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap the message thread.
  3. Touch and hold the picture message.
  4. Tap Delete.
  5. Tap OK to confirm.

 

Delete text messages (SMS)

  1. From any home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap the message thread.
  3. Touch and hold the text message.
  4. Tap Delete.
  5. Tap OK to confirm.

 

Save pictures received in a message (MMS)

  1. From any home screen, tap Messaging.
  2. Tap the message thread.
  3. Touch and hold the picture.
  4. Tap Save attachment.
  5. Select the location to save to.
  6. Tap Save.

 

SMS service center number

  1. From any home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Messaging.
  3. Tap Menu.
  4. Tap Settings.
  5. Tap Text message settings.
  6. View the Message center number.
