Learn how to use the browser on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S.

 

 

 

Clear cache / cookies / history

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Internet.
  3. Tap the Menu icon at top-right.
  4. Tap Settings > Privacy and security.
  5. Tap the following to clear it:
    • Clear cache
    • Clear all cookie data
    • Clear history
  6. Tap OK

 

Open / close tabs / windows

  • Tap the Plus icon to open a new browser window.
  • Tap the X icon on a window/tab you want to close

 

Set default storage

Camera

Note: The first time you open the Camera application, you can set the default memory to your SD card by tapping OK when the pop-up window appears.

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Tap Camera.
  3. Tap the Menu key and then tap Settings.
  4. Tap the Settings icon.
  5. Swipe up on the menu, tap Storage, and then tap one of the following options:
    • Device
    • Memory card
    • Internet

Internet

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Tap Internet.
  3. Tap the Menu key.
  4. Swipe up on the menu and then tap Settings.
  5. Tap Content settings.
  6. Tap Default storage and then tap one of the following options:
    • Device
    • Memory card

Nearby Devices (DLNA)

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap the Connections tab.
  4. Tap Nearby devices.
  5. Tap Download to and then tap one of the following options:
    • Device
    • SD card

     

    Turn on / off JavaScript

    1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
    2. Tap Internet.
    3. Tap the Menu icon at top-right.
    4. Tap Settings.
    5. Tap Advanced.
    6. Tap Enable JavaScript to select (turn on) or clear (turn off) the check box.
