Use these steps to support network settings on the BlackBerry PRIV.

APN & data settings
- From any Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > More > Cellular networks > Access Point Names.
- If available, tap the T-Mobile GPRS APN (the bullet point fills with green).
- If not available, tap the icon to add a new APN.
- To reset your APN settings, tap Menu (three dots) > Reset to default.
- Verify and update the following settings for the Data APN:
- Name: T-Mobile GPRS
- APN: fast.t-mobile.com
- Proxy: <Not set>
- Port: <Not set>
- Username: <Not set>
- Password: <Not set>
- Server: <Not set>
- MMSC: <Not set>
- MMS proxy: <Not set>
- MMS port: <Not set>
- MCC: 310
- MNC: 260
- Authentication type: <Not set>
- APN type: default,supl
- APN protocol: IPv6
- APN roaming protocol: IPv4
- Enable/disable APN: checked
- Bearer: Unspecified
- MVNO type: None
- Tap the Menu > Save.
Manual network selection
The device detects and registers on wireless networks inside T-Mobile’s calling area, but roaming networks are usually restricted to T-Mobile SIM cards. You can manually select a network only in areas where T-Mobile does not own GSM spectrum.
- From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > More > Cellular networks > Network operators.
- The device automatically searches for available networks. Tap the desired network.
Switch 2G / 4G
From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > More > Cellular networks > Preferred network type.
Choose from the following:
4G LTE&4G/3G&2G
4G LTE&4G/3G
4G&3G&2G
4G&3G
2G
Turn on / off airplane mode
Airplane mode turns off wireless connections. This allows app and menu use, but prevents voice or Internet use.
- From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > More.
- Tap the switch to turn Airplane mode on or off.
Turn on / off data roaming
From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > More > Cellular networks > Data services while roaming.

Turn on / off mobile data
- From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > Data usage.
- Tap the switch next to Cellular data to enable or disable.
