Camera & gallery: HTC Desire 626s

Use these steps to support gallery functions on the HTC Desire 626s.

 

 

 

Camera settings

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications icon.
  2. Tap Camera.
  3. Tap the Menu icon.
  4. Tap the Settings icon from the Menu drop-down.
  5. Update the following settings as desired:  
    • Crop         
      • Wide (16:9)
      • Regular (4:3)
      • Square (1:1)
    • Make-up level
    • Camera options         
      • Auto smile capture (on/off)
      • Voice capture (on/off)         
      • Touch to capture (on/off)
      • Lock focus during recording (on/off)
    • Continuous shooting (on/off)
    • Review duration         
      • No review
      • 5 seconds
      • 10 seconds
      • No limit
    • Self-timer (on/off)         
      • Resolution
      • Large
      • Medium
      • Small
    • Image adjustments
    • Video Quality         
      • Full HD (1920 x 1080)
      • HD (1280 x 720)
      • QVGA (320 x 240)
      • MMS (176 x 144)
    • General Settings         
      • Grid (on/off)
      • Geo-tag photos (on/off)
      • Shutter sound (on/off)
      • Volume buttons options
      • Storage                 
        • SD card
        • Phone storage

Change default camera storage

Pictures can be stored on the internal memory (ROM) or SD card.

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications icon.
  2. Tap the Media folder.
  3. Tap Camera.
  4. Tap the Menu icon.
  5. Tap General settings.
  6. Tap Storage.
  7. Select the storage location: 
    • SD card
    • Phone storage

 

Delete pictures & videos

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications icon.
  2. Tap Gallery.
  3. Tap the Menu key.
  4. Tap DELETE.
  5. Navigate to and select each picture/video you want to delete.
  6. A red X will appear over each picture/video to be deleted.
  7. Tap DELETE.

 

Screenshots

  1. Press and hold the Power button, and immediately press the Home key.
  2. The screen flash briefly and makes a camera shutter sound.
  3. A saving screenshot message appears at the top of the screen.
