Manage calls: Kyocera DuraForce XD

Learn how to block calls, set or cancel call forwarding, and manage caller ID and the call log on the Kyocera DuraForce XD.

 

 

 

Block calls

  1. From the Home screen, open the Phone app and tap Dialpad.
  2. Tap the Menu icon with three dots, then tap Call settings > Call rejection.
  3. Place a check in the box next to to Call rejection, then tap Call rejection list.
  4. To block calls from unknown numbers, place a check in the box next to Unknown number.
  5. To add a person to the list, tap the Add contact icon at the bottom and choose where to add the contact from:
    • Contacts
    • Recent calls
    • New
  6. Choose the contact or enter the number and tap Save.

 

Unblock calls

  1. From the Home screen, open the Phone app and tap Dialpad.
  2. Tap the Menu icon with three dots, then tap Call settings > Call rejection > Call rejection list.
  3. Tap the Trash can icon, place a check next to the contact to remove, then tap Done.

 

Call forwarding unconditional

Call Forwarding Unconditional (CFU) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number without allowing the device to ring.

 

  1. From the Home screen, open the Phone app and tap Dialpad.
  2. Tap the Menu icon with three dots, then tap Call settings > Call forwarding > Always forward.
  3. Enter the number to forward calls to, then tap Enable.

 

Call forwarding conditional

Call Forwarding Conditional (CFC) forwards incoming calls to another phone number if you do not or cannot answer them (no reply, busy, unavailable).

 

  1. From the Home screen, open the Phone app and tap Dialpad.
  2. Tap the Menu icon with three dots, then tap Call settings > Call forwarding.
  3. Choose the type of forwarding to adjust:
    • When busy
    • When unanswered
    • When unreachable
  4. Enter the number to forward calls to, then tap Enable.

 

Cancel call forwarding

  1. From the Home screen, open the Phone app and tap Dialpad.
  2. Dial ##004# and tap the green Call button.

 

Caller ID settings

  1. From the Home screen, open the Phone app and tap Dialpad.
  2. Tap the Menu icon with three dots, then tap Call settings > Additional settings > Caller ID.
  3. Choose from the following:
    • Network default
    • Hide number
    • Show number

 

Reset call log

  1. From the Home screen, open the Phone app and tap Recent Calls.
  2. Tap the Menu icon with three dots, then tap Delete recent calls.
  3. Tap to choose individual calls or tap Select all, then tap Done.

 

View call log

To view call logs or history, from the Home screen, open the Phone app and tap Recent Calls.
