Manage apps: BlackBerry PRIV

Use these steps to use/do/support uninstall and clear cache for apps on the BlackBerry PRIV.

 

 

 

Clear app cache and data

Clearing cache or data from an app can fix some software problems. If you clear data, any data stored in that app is lost, such as settings, login information, and saved games. If you don't want to clear the data, try just clearing cache first. If you still experience problems, then clear data too.

 

Android 5.0

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > Apps.
  2. Tap on the desired app in the list. You may need to swipe right to the All list.
  3. Tap Clear cache to clear the cache only.
  4. Tap Clear data to clear the data and the cache together.

 

Android 6.0

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > Apps.
  2. Tap on the desired app in the list. You may need to tap the drop-down list then tap All apps.
  3. Tap Storage.
  4. Tap Clear cache to clear the cache only.
  5. Tap Clear data to clear the data and the cache together.

 

Uninstall app

 

Android 5.0

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > Apps.
  2. Tap on the desired app in the list. You may need to swipe left to the Downloaded list.
  3. Tap Uninstall > OK.

 

Android 6.0

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > Apps.
  2. Tap on the desired app in the list. You may need to tap the drop-down list then tap All apps.
  3. Tap Uninstall > OK.
