Backlight & display: Samsung Galaxy Tab S2

Learn how to customize the display and adjust the backlight on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2.

 

 

 

Backlight: Change brightness

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Scroll to 'Device,' then Display.
  4. If necessary, tap Automatic brightness to clear the Check box and turn off.
  5. Touch and drag the Brightness level Slider to the desired setting.

 

Backlight: Timeout

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Scroll to 'Device,' then Display.
  4. Tap Screen timeout.
  5. Select the desired time setting:
    • 15 seconds
    • 30 seconds
    • 1 minute
    • 2 minutes
    • 5 minutes
    • 10 minutes

 

[Widget, Folder, or Shortcut]: Add

  1. From any home screen, touch and hold a vacant spot.
  2. Tap Widgets.
  3. A list of available widgets appears, tap and long press of the option you want on the Homescreen.
  4. Slide the widget into place and release your finger.

 

[Widget, Folder, or Shortcut]: Delete

  1. Touch and hold a shortcut, widget, or folder on any Home screen.
  2. Drag the shortcut, widget, or folder to the Remove icon at the top of the screen.
  3. Release your finger.

 

Wallpaper: Home screen

  1. From any home screen, touch and hold a vacant spot
  2. Tap Wallpapers.
  3. Tap Home screen.
  4. Select from one of the available options including pre-installed and Gallery images.
  5. Tap SET AS WALLPAPER.

 

Wallpaper: Lock screen

  1. From any home screen, touch and hold a vacant spot
  2. Tap Wallpapers.
  3. Tap Lock screen.
  4. Select from one of the available options including pre-installed and Gallery images.
  5. Tap SET AS WALLPAPER.
