Manage calls: Sony Xperia Z

Learn how to block calls, set or cancel call forwarding, and manage caller ID and the call log on the Sony Xperia Z.

 

 

 

Call forwarding unconditional

Call Forwarding Unconditional (CFU) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number without allowing the device to ring.

 

  1. From the home screen, tap Apps > Settings > Call settings > Call forwarding > Always forward.
  2. Enter a phone number to forward calls to.
  3. Tap the Contacts icon to use a phone number from a saved contact.
  4. Tap Enable.

 

Call forwarding conditional

Call Forwarding Conditional (CFC) forwards incoming calls to another phone number if you do not or cannot answer them (no reply, busy, unavailable).

 

  1. From the home screen, tap Apps > Settings > Call settings > Call forwarding.
  2. Select one of the following:
    • Forward when busy
    • Forward when unanswered
    • Forward when unreachable
  3. If necessary, enter a phone number to forward all calls to.
  4. Tap the Contacts icon to use a phone number from a saved contact.
  5. Tap Enable.

 

Cancel call forwarding

  1. From the home screen, tap Apps > Settings > Call settings > Call forwarding.
  2. Tap Always forward > Disable.

 

Caller ID settings

  1. From the home screen, tap Apps > Settings > Call settings > Additional settings > Caller ID.
  2. Select from the following:
    • Network default
    • Hide number
    • Show number

 

Reset call log

  1. From the home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Tap Menu > Clear call log.

 

View call log

  1. From the home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Tap the arrow next to the call log entry you want to view.
  3. Under 'DURATION,' view the additional call details.
