Camera & gallery: Samsung Galaxy Note 3

    Use these steps to support gallery functions on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

     

     

     

    Camera settings

    1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
    2. Tap Camera.
    3. Tap the Settings icon.
    4. Tap to change the following settings:
      • Edit shortcuts
      • Burst shot (on/off)
      • Use the volume key as
      • Self-portrait (on/off) (*Turn front-facing camera on or off*)
      • Flash (on / off / Auto flash)
      • Shooting mode
      • Effects
      • Scene mode
      • Exposure value
      • Focus mode
      • Timer
      • Resolution
      • White balance
      • ISO
      • Metering
      • Outdoor visibility (on/off)
      • Auto contrast (on/off)
      • Guidelines (on/off)
      • Auto share shot (on/off)
      • Anti-shake (on/off)
      • GPS tag (on/off)
      • Shutter sound (on/off)
      • Contextual filename (on/off)
      • Take photo using voice (on/off)
      • Save as flipped
      • Image quality
      • Storage (Memory card / phone)
      • Reset

     

    Front / rear camera

    1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
    2. Tap Camera.
    3. Tap the Front / Rear Camera icon to switch between the front and rear camera.

     

    Camera / Camcorder mode

    1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
    2. Tap Camera.
    3. Touch the Camera / Camcorder Switch and drag it towards the desired setting.

    Effects mode

    1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
    2. Tap Camera.
    3. Tap the Effects icon (Magic Wand). Tap the desired effect setting.

     

    Change default camera storage

    Pictures can be stored on the internal memory (ROM) or SD card.

     

    1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
    2. Tap Camera.
    3. Tap the Settings icon.
    4. Swipe up on the menu and tap Storage.
    5. Tap the desired storage location:
      • Phone
      • Memory card

     

    Delete pictures & videos

    1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
    2. Tap Gallery.
    3. If necessary, tap the drop-down arrow and then select the desired picture category.
      Note: To delete entire albums, tap the Menu key, tap Select album and then skip to step 6.
    4. Tap the desired album.
    5. Tap the Menu key and then tap Select item.
    6. Tap each picture (or album, if applicable)  to be deleted.
    7. Tap the Trash can icon.
    8. Tap OK.

     

    Screenshots

    1. Navigate to the desired screen.
    2. At the same time, press and hold the Power key and the Home key.
    3. When the white border appears around the edge of the screen, release the keys. The screen shot has been captured. Screenshots are saved in the following location: Any Home screen > Apps icon > My files > All files > sdcard0 > Pictures > Screenshots.
