    Learn how to use the browser on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

     

     

     

    Clear cache / cookies / history

    Internet

    1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
    2. Tap Internet.
    3. Tap the Menu key and then tap Settings.
    4. Tap Privacy.
    5. Tap Delete personal data.
    6. Tap one of the following:
      • Cache
      • Cookies and site data
      • Browsing history

    Chrome

    1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
    2. Tap Chrome.
    3. Tap the Menu key and then tap Settings.
    4. Tap Privacy.
    5. Tap the Menu key, then tap Clear browsing data.
      Note: By default, Clear the cache is automatically selected. Also, 'Clear browsing history' and 'Clear cookies, site data' are also automatically selected.
    6. Tap one of the following:
      • Clear the cache (this option is selected by default; tap to deselect it if you don't want to clear the cache
      • Clear cookies, site data
      • Clear browsing history

     

    Open / close tabs / windows

    Internet

    1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
    2. Tap Internet.
    3. Tap the Windows icon.
    4. To close a window, tap the red -- icon inside the desired window to be closed.
    5. To add a window, tap the + icon at top right. Tap the URL field and enter the desired web address and then tap Go.

    Chrome

    1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
    2. Tap Chrome.
    3. Tap the Tabs icon at top-right.
    4. To close a window, tap the x icon inside the desired window.
    5. To open a new window (called "tab" in Chrome), tap New tab.
    6. Tap the Search or type URL field and enter the desired web address. Tap Go.

     

    Set default storage

    1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
    2. Tap the Samsung bundle.
    3. Tap Internet.
    4. Tap the Menu key.
    5. Swipe up on the menu and then tap Settings.
    6. Tap Content settings.
    7. Tap Default storage and then tap one of the following options:
      • Device
      • Memory card

     

    Turn on / off JavaScript

    Internet

    1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
    2. Tap Internet.
    3. Tap the Menu key and then tap Settings.
    4. Tap Advanced.
    5. To turn on, tap Enable JavaScript to select the check box.
    6. To turn off, tap Enable JavaScript to clear the check box.

     

    Chrome

    1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
    2. Tap Chrome.
    3. Tap the Menu key and then tap Settings.
    4. Tap Content settings.
    5. To turn on JavaScript, tap Enable JavaScript to select the check box.
    6. To turn off JavaScript, tap Enable JavaScript to clear the check box.
