Camera & gallery: Samsung Galaxy Note5

Use these steps to support gallery functions on the Samsung Galaxy Note5.

 

 

 

Camera settings

To change the settings for taking and displaying pictures, follow these steps:

    1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
    2. Tap Camera.
    3. Tap to adjust these Quick settings:
      • Picture size
        • 16M 5312x2988 (16:9)
        • 12M 3984x2988 (4:3)
        • 8.9M 2976x2976 (1:1)
        • 8M 3264x1836 (19:9)
        • 6M 2048x1152 (16:9)
        • 2.4M 2048x1152 (16:9)
      • Flash (on/off)
      • Timer
        • Off
        • 2 sec
        • 5 sec
        • 10 sec
      • HDR ON/OFF
      • Effects

    4. Tap the Setting icon to adjust the following settings:

    Change default camera storage

    Delete pictures & videos

    1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
    2. Tap Gallery.
    3. Tap the MORE or Menu icon.
    4. Tap Edit
    5. Tap each picture (or album, if applicable) to be deleted.
    6. Tap DELETE.
    7. Tap DELETE.

     

    Screenshots

    Keypad Method

    1. Navigate to the desired screen.
    2. At the same time, press and hold the Power key and the Home key.
    3. When the white border appears around the edge of the screen, release the keys. The screenshot has been captured.
    4. Screenshots are saved in the Gallery application inside the Screenshots album.

     

    Screen Swipe Method

    1. Navigate to the desired screen.

    2. Place your index finger flush against the left side of the screen with your hand perpendicular to the screen.

    1. Swipe right until the white border appears around the edge of the screen. The screenshot has been captured.

    2. Screenshots are saved in the Gallery application inside the Screenshots album.

     

    S Pen Method

    1. Remove the S Pen from the S Pen slot and hold the S Pen near the screen so that the pointer appears.
    2. Press the S Pen button once to launch the Air command menu.
    3. Select the Screen write icon to capture the current screen.
