Manage calls: Samsung GALAXY Core Prime

Learn how to block calls, set or cancel call forwarding, and manage caller ID and the call log on the Samsung GALAXY Core Prime.

 

 

 

Block calls

To block incoming calls from a number, follow these steps:

 

Note: To block any incoming call that is not added to the reject list, touch the red Phone icon and drag it to the left. To block the call but provide a message, touch Reject call with message and drag up.

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Tap MORE.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Call rejection.
  5. Tap Auto reject list.
  6. To enter the number manually:
    1. Enter the number.
    2. If desired, choose a Match criteria option:
      • Exactly the same as (default)
      • Starts with
      • Ends with
      • Includes
  7. To search for the number:
    1. Tap the Contacts icon.
    2. Tap Logs or Contacts.
    3. Tap the number to reject or contact to add to the reject list.
  8. To block unknown callers, move the slide under Unknown to ON.

 

Unblock calls

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Tap MORE.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Call rejection.
  5. Tap Auto reject list.
  6. Tap the minus  sign next to the contact name or number to remove from the list.

 

Call forwarding unconditional

Call Forwarding Unconditional (CFU) immediately forwards all calls to another phone number without allowing the device to ring.

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap Phone.
  2. Tap the MORE icon.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap More settings.
  5. Tap Call forwarding.
  6. Tap the desired option:
    • Forward when busy
    • Forward when unanswered
    • Forward when unreachable
  7. Enter the phone number to forward your calls to.
  8. Tap Update.

 

The number +18056377249 is your voicemail number. If you change this number, calls for the desired option will no longer forward to voicemail.

 

Call forwarding conditional

Call Forwarding Conditional (CFC) forwards incoming calls to another phone number if you do not or cannot answer them (no reply, busy, unavailable).

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap Phone.
  2. Tap the MORE icon.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap More settings.
  5. Tap Call forwarding.
  6. Tap Always forward.
  7. Enter the phone number to forward your calls to.
  8. Tap Turn on

 

Cancel call forwarding

  1. From any Home screen, tap Phone.
  2. Tap the MORE icon.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap More settings.
  5. Tap Call forwarding.
  6. Tap Always forward.
  7. Tap Turn off.

 

Caller ID settings

  1. From any Home screen, tap Phone.
  2. Tap the MORE icon.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap More settings.
  5. Tap Caller ID and select one of the following options:
    • Network default
    • Hide number
    • Show number

 

Reset call log

  1. From any Home screen, tap the green Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Logs tab.
  3. Tap the MORE icon and then tap Settings.
  4. Tap Edit.
  5. Place a check in All to 'Select log items'.
  6. Tap Delete.

 

View call log

  1. From any Home screen, tap the green Phone icon.
  2. Tap the Logs tab to view the call logs.
  3. Tap any call listed to see more details about that number.
