Wi-Fi calling: T-Mobile Concord II

Learn how to set up and use Wi-Fi calling and connection preference on the T-Mobile Concord II.

 

 

 

Turn on & connect

To use Wi-Fi calling, you must first register an E911 address and turn on Wi-Fi to connect to a Wi-Fi network.

 

  1. Register your E911 address at My T-Mobile.
  2. Turn on Wi-Fi.
  3. From any Home screen, pull down the Quick Settings menu.
  4. Tap the expand icon to display the full menu.
  5. Tap the Wi-Fi icon to turn it on.
  6. Touch and hold Wi-Fi to view a list of available networks.
  7. Make sure the Wi-Fi switch is in the right ON position.
  8. Tap the network you want to add.
  9. If security is enabled, enter the password
  10. Tap Connect.
  11. Once connected, the network you are connected to displays.
  12. Under Quick Settings, it will show the network name and the Wi-Fi icon will be blue.

 

Set connection preference

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Under WIRELESS & NETWORKS, tap More.
  4. Tap Wi-Fi Calling.
  5. Tap Connection Preferences.
  6. Make sure the Wi-Fi Calling switch is in the right ON position.
