Edge Screen: Samsung Galaxy Note7

    Use these steps to support questions about features that are specific to the Samsung Galaxy Note7 Edge screen.

    Edge Screen Settings

    Edge panels

    1. From any Home screen, tap Settings > Display.
    2. Tap Edge screen.
    3. Tap Edge panels.
    4. Move the slider to On.
    5. Place checks in the following options:
      • Apps edge
      • People edge
      • Quick tools
      • Calendar
      • My places
      • Tasks edge
      • Yahoo! Finance
      • Yahoo! Sports
      • Yahoo! News
      • CNN
      • Internet
      • Weather
      • Support & More
      • Samsung Milk Music
      • DOWNLOAD
    6. Tap the Menu (3 dot) icon > Handle settings.
    7. Adjust following options:
      • Drag the handle upward or downward to position the panel
      • Position
      • Size
      • Transparency
    8. Tap the Menu (3 dot) icon > Reorder.
    9. Use the arrows at the top of the selected panels to move them into the position you want.
    10. Tap the Menu (3 dot) icon > Uninstall.
    11. Tap the red minus sign to uninstall any downloaded panels.

     

    Edge feeds

     

    1. From any Home screen, tap Settings > Display.
    2. Tap Edge screen.
    3. Tap Edge feeds.
    4. Move the slider to On.
    5. Place checks in the following options:
      • Briefing feed
      • Yahoo! News
      • Yahoo! Finance
      • Yahoo! Sports
      • Samsung+
      • DOWNLOAD
    6. Tap the Menu (3 dot) icon > Edge feed timeout.
    7. Choose from following options:
      • 15 seconds
      • 30 seconds
      • 1 minute
      • 2 minute
      • 5 minute
      • 10 minute
    8. Tap the Menu (3 dot) icon > Reorder.
    9. Use the arrows at the top of the selected feeds to move them into the position you want.

     

    Edge lighting

     

    1. From any Home screen, tap Settings > Display.
    2. Tap Edge screen.
    3. Tap Edge lighting.
    4. Move the slider to On.
    5. Move the slider in Quick reply to On, then tap Quick reply to setup a quick reply message to send to contacts when the device is turned over
