Unresponsive / frozen phone troubleshooting: T-Mobile Dash 3G

If the device shows this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Advise the customer that the latest software version may solve this issue.
    • Do not process a handset exchange before attempting to upgrade the software.
    • Verify Software Version: T-Mobile Dash 3G.
      • Note: The Rom version appears. The original software version is 1.71.531.5 or 1.71.531.6. The new software version is 2.06.531.4.
  1. After the customer has updated to the latest software version, test to see if the issue is resolved.
  2. It the issue recurs, search for troubleshooting in T-Mobile Community.
