Use Task Manager to view available memory and close programs: T-Mobile Wing

The Task Manager application shows the free and used memory on the device,  and it shuts down running applications to free up memory. You can access and use  the Task Manager from the Quick Menu on the Today screen. To use the Task  Manager, follow these steps:

 

To use the Task Manager application from the menu


  1. From the Today screen, tap Start.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap the Systems tab.
  4. Tap Task Manager.

  5. Tap Stop All to close all running programs, or else tap  Stop Selected to close programs that you are not  using.

  6. To manage your memory, tap MenuMemory.

    • Note: This screen shows the amount of free  memory memory under Storage and Programs in the internal  memory. To view the free and available memory on a microSD memory card, tap the   Storage Card tab.

To use the Task Manager Quick Menu


  1. From the Today screen, tap the Task Manager icon in the  upper right corner of the screen.

  2. To close all running programs, tap Stop All.
  3. To stop individual programs, tap the "X" beside the  program name.

To hide or show the Task Manager Quick Menu

  1. From the Today screen, tap Start .
  2. Tap Settings .
  3. Tap the System tab.
  4. Tap Task Manager.
  5. Tap the Button tab.
  6. Tap the Enable QuickMenu on Today Screen check box to hide  or show the Quick Menu.
