Change line nicknames on My T-Mobile

Changing the name for a line is easy!

 

If you’re the Primary Account Holder (PAH) on the account, you can log in to My T-Mobile and update the name assigned to each line. Only the PAH can change the names for other lines on the account.

 

The line name you set is used to identify each person on your account. Renaming lines helps you tell who uses which line.

 

 

Personal accounts

Business account with 20 or less lines, follow these steps as well:

 

  1. Log in to My T-Mobile.
  2. Click PROFILE.
  3. Click Line Settings. To change the name for a different line, click the drop-down menu at the top and select the line.
  4. Click Nickname.
  5. Update the name and click Save.

 

 

Business accounts (21+ lines)

  1. Log in to My T-Mobile.
  2. Click Your Profile.
  3. Click Customer information.
  4. Update the name and click Save.
