Change default keyboard

 

To change the default keyboard, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Tap Keyboard.
  4. Tap Keyboards.
  5. Tap the desired keyboard to change the software and hardware layouts.

 

 

Enter symbols & numbers

 

To enter symbols and numbers with the keyboard, follow these steps:

 

  1. Tap the 123 button at the bottom right hand side of the keyboard.
  2. Choose the desired symbol or number.
  3. Tap ABC to return to letter input.

 

 

Text entry mode

 

To change the text entry or predictive text mode, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Tap Keyboard.
  4. Tap the slider to turn ON or OFF for the following:
    • Auto-Capitalization
    • Auto-Correction
    • Check Spelling
    • Enable Caps Lock
    • "." Shortcut

 

 

Turn on / off haptic feedback

To turn on or turn off keyboard clicks, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Tap Sounds.
  3. Tap the slider to turn Keyboard Clicks to ON or OFF.
