Learn how to delete and save SMS and MMS messages on the Samsung Highlight T749.

 

 

 

 

Add SMS service center number

 

To add or change the SMS service center number, follow these steps:

 

  1. On the main screen, tap Menu.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Touch and slide the screen upward.
  4. Tap Application settings.
  5. Tap Messaging.
  6. Tap Text message.
  7. Tap Text message center.
  8. Tap T-Mobile.
  9. Tap the phone number under Center address.
  10. Enter the service center phone number: +12063130004.
  11. Tap Done.
  12. Tap Save.

 

 

Delete picture messages (MMS)

 

To delete picture messages (MMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. On the main screen, tap Menu.
  2. Tap Messaging.
  3. Tap Inbox.
  4. Tap Delete.
  5. Tap the message(s) you want to delete.
    • You see a check in the check box next to the taped message(s).
  6. Tap Delete.

 

 

Delete text messages (SMS)

 

To delete text messages (SMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. On the main screen, tap Menu.
  2. Tap Messaging.
  3. Tap Inbox.
  4. Tap Delete.
  5. Tap the message(s) that you want to delete.
  6. Tap Delete.
  7. Tap Yes to confirm.

 

 

Save pictures received in a message (MMS)

 

To save a picture you received as a picture message (MMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, select Menu.
  2. Select Messaging.
  3. Select inbox and press the Select soft key.
  4. Select a picture message from the list and press the Options soft key.
  5. Select Save media to save the attached media to the Phone or Memory card.
