Settings

 

To change the settings for taking and displaying pictures, follow these steps:

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Tap Camera.
  3. Tap the associated icon to change one or more of the following settings:

Flash icon  Tap to adjust the camera flash setting. 
Self shot icon  Tap to switch to the front facing camera. Tap again to switch back to the rear facing camera. 
Shooting mode icon  Tap to change the camera’s shooting mode. 
Set timer icon  Tap to set or turn off the camera timer.
Exposure value icon  Tap to adjust the brightness of the picture. 
Settings icon  Tap to adjust the following settings:

  • Edit shortcuts
  • Self-portrait
  • Shooting mode
  • Scene mode
  • Exposure value
  • Focus mode
  • Effects
  • Resolution
  • White balance
  • Metering
  • Outdoor visibility
  • Guidelines
  • GPS tag
  • Storage

Set default camera storage

 

To change if the camera stores pictures on the internal memory (ROM) or SD card, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Tap Camera.
  3. Tap the Options icon.
  4. Tap Storage.
  5. Tap one of the following options:
    • Device
    • Memory card
