Manage messages (SMS / MMS): Samsung Gravity T

Learn how to delete and save SMS and MMS messages on the Samsung Gravity T.

 

 

 

 

Add SMS service center number

 

To add or change the SMS service center number, follow these steps:

 

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Scroll to and tap Messaging settings.
  3. Tap Text message.
  4. Tap Text message center.
  5. To the right of T-Mobile, tap the Edit (>>) icon.
  6. Tap the Center address field to open the virtual keyboard.
  7. Enter the service center number you want to add or edit.
    • The service center number is +12063130004.
  8. Tap and edit options as desired.
  9. Tap Done.

 

 

Delete picture messages (MMS)

 

To delete picture messages (MMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Tap Message inbox.
  3. Tap More.
  4. Tap Delete.
  5. Tap Select all or tap to select each message you want to delete.
  6. Tap Delete.

 

 

Delete text messages (SMS)

 

To delete text messages (SMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Tap Message inbox.
  3. Tap More.
  4. Tap Delete.
  5. Tap Select all or tap to select each text message you want to delete.
  6. Tap Delete.

 

 

Save pictures received in a message (MMS)

 

To save a picture you received as a picture message (MMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. Open the message you wish to save.
  2. Tap more.
  3. Tap save attachment.
  4. Tap phone or memory card (destination to save MMS message)
  5. Check the picture you want to save (uncheck the one/s you don’t want to save) and save.
