Drivers for computers

 

To download and install drivers for a Windows computer, follow these steps:

 

  1. On your computer, open the webpage http://samsung.com/kies.
  2. Click Download for Windows.
  3. Follow the prompts to download and install the drivers.

 

 

Tethering via USB

 

To connect the device internet to a computer via USB cable, follow these steps:

Download and install Samsung Kies 2.0

  1. Open a web browser on the computer you want to share files with.
  2. Navigate to www.samsung.com/us/kies/.
  3. Click on one of the following options:
    1. Download Kies (WINDOWS®)
    2. Download Kies (MAC®)
  4. In the search box, enter the word Kies and then click the Search icon.
  5. Click Samsung Kies.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Open the file you just downloaded.
  8. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish downloading and installing Kies on the computer.

  1. Download and install Samsung Kies 2.0 on the computer you want to share your data connection with.
  2. On the computer, open Samsung Kies.
  3. Click Tools.
  4. Click Install driver.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation.

Tether Your TabletTo share your mobile data connection with a single computer by tethering, follow these steps:

  1. Connect your tablet to your computer using a USB cable.
  2. On your tablet, from any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap More.
  5. Tap Tethering and portable hotspot.
  6. Tap to select the USB tethering check box.
  7. Your tablet is now sharing its mobile network data connection with your computer via the USB connection.
