Settings

 

To change the settings for taking and displaying pictures, follow these steps:

From any Home screen, tap Applications.

On the first Application panel, tap Camera.

Tap the Arrow  icon and select one of the following camera menu options:

 

Note: Navigation key instructions assume the phone is in landscape mode.

 

Camera Setting

Procedure

Camera/Camcorder mode

  1. Tap the Camcorder icon to select Camcorder mode.
  2. Tap the Camera icon to return to Camera mode.
ZoomPress the Volume key up to zoom in.Press the Volume key down to zoom out.
Shooting mode
  1. Tap Shooting mode.
  2. Select one of the following options:
  • Single shot
  • Beauty
  • Smile shot
  • Continuous
  • Panorama
  • Vintage
  • Add me
  • Action shot
  • Cartoon
Default  destination
  1. Tap Default Dest.
  2. Select one of the following options:
  • Recent recipient
  • Phone Book
  • Online Album
  • New Email
  • New Number
Exposure
  1. Tap Exposure.
  2. Touch and slide your finger left or right to adjust exposure.
Outdoor visibility
  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap to select or deselect the outdoor visibility feature.
Focus mode
  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap the Focus mode field.
  3. Select one of the following options:
  • Auto focus
  • Macro
  • Face detection
Scene mode
  1. Tap SCN Scenes.
  2. Tap the Scene mode field.
  3. Select one of the following options:
  • None
  • Portrait
  • Landscape
  • Night
  • Sports
  • Party/Indoor
  • Beach/Snow
  • Sunset
  • Dawn
  • Fall color
  • Firework
  • Text
  • Candlelight
  • Backlight
Timer
  1. Tap Settings.
  2. If necessary, tap the Up or Down arrow on the right side of the screen to scroll to this setting.
  3. Tap the Timer field.
  4. Tap one of the following options:
  • Off
  • 2 sec
  • 5 sec
  • 10 sec
Resolution
  1. Tap Settings.
  2. If necessary, tap the Up or Down arrow on the right side of the screen to scroll to this setting.
  3. Tap the Resolution field.
  4. Select one of the following   options:
  • 2560x1920
  • 2560x1536
  • 2048x1536
  • 2048x1232
  • 1600x1200
  • 1600x960
  • 640x480
  • 800x480
White balance
  1. Tap Settings.
  2. If necessary, tap the Up or Down arrow on the right side of the screen to scroll to this setting.
  3. Tap the White Balance field.
  4. Select one of the following   options:
  • Auto
  • Daylight
  • Cloudy
  • Incandescent
  • Fluorescent
Effects
  1. Tap Settings.
  2. If necessary, tap the Up or Down arrow on the right side of the screen to scroll to this setting.
  3. Tap the Effects field.
  4. Select one of the following   options:
  • Normal
  • Negative
  • Black   and white
  • Sepia
ISO
  1. Tap Settings.
  2. If necessary, tap the Up or Down arrow on the right side of the screen to scroll to this setting.
  3. Tap the ISO field.
  4. Select one of the following   options:
  • ISO Auto
  • ISO 100
  • ISO 200
  • ISO 400
  • ISO 800
Metering
  1. Tap Settings.
  2. If necessary, tap the Up or Down arrow on the right side of the screen to scroll to this setting.
  3. Tap the Metering field.
  4. Select one of the following options:
  • Center-weighted
  • Spot
  • Matrix
Anti-Shake
  1. Tap Settings.
  2. If necessary, tap the Up or Down arrow on the right side of the screen to scroll to this setting.
  3. Tap to select or deselect the anti-shake feature.
Auto contrast
  1. Tap Settings.
  2. If necessary, tap the Up or Down arrow on the right side of the screen to scroll to this setting.
  3. Tap to select or deselect the auto contrast feature.
Blink detection
  1. Tap Settings.
  2. If necessary, tap the Up or Down arrow on the right side of the screen to scroll to this setting.
  3. Tap to select or deselect the blink detection feature.
Image quality
  1. Tap Settings.
  2. If necessary, tap the Up or Down arrow on the right side of the screen to scroll to this setting.
  3. Tap the Image quality field.
  4. Select one of the following options:
  • Superfine
  • Fine
  • Normal
Adjust
  1. Tap Settings.
  2. If necessary, tap the Up or Down arrow on the right side of the screen to scroll to this setting.
  3. Tap the Adjust field.
  4. Touch and slide your finger left or right to adjust the following options:
  • Contrast
  • Saturation
  • Sharpness
