Settings

 

To change the settings for taking and displaying pictures, follow these steps:

  1. From the Home screen, press the Right Convenience key on the side of the device.
  2. Press the Menu key.
    • Note: Some settings may show here instead of in Options.
  3. Scroll to and select Options.
  4. Scroll to and select any of the following options to adjust the settings as desired:
    • White Balance to change the contrast of a captured picture for the listed conditions.
    • Picture Size to change the size of a captured picture.
    • Picture Quality to change the quality of a captured picture
      • Note: Finer quality pictures require more storage space.
    • Color Effect to change the hue of a picture
    • Geotagging to tag a picture with your phone’s GPS location at the time the picture is captured
      • Store Pictures to choose storing pictures to the phone’s memory or to a memory card, if available
      • Folder to change the default storage location for pictures captured with the phone’s camera
    • Press the Menu key.
    • Scroll to and select Save.

     

     

    Set default camera storage

     

    To change if the camera stores pictures on the internal memory (ROM) or SD card, follow these steps:

     

    1. From the Home screen, press the Right Convenience key on the side of the device.
    2. Press the Menu key.
    3. Scroll to and select Options.
    4. Change the drop down box next to Store Pictures to choose storing pictures to the phone’s memory or to a memory card, if available.
    5. Press the Menu key.
    6. Scroll to and select Save.
