Add an email account manually

 

To set up an email account and manually enter the settings, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications icon.
  2. Tap Email.
  3. Note: If you have already set up an email account, tap the Menu key > Accounts > Menu key > Add account.
  4. Read the message about data usage and tap OK.
  5. Tap the Email address field.
  6. Enter your email address.
  7. Tap Next.
  8. Tap the Password field.
  9. Enter your password.
  10. Tap Done.
  11. Tap Manual setup.
  12. Tap to select POP3 or IMAP.
  13. Enter your Incoming server settings.
  14. Tap Next.
  15. Tap Done.

 

 

Add a Gmail account

 

To set up a Gmail email account, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, press Menu.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Accounts & sync.
  4. Tap Add account.
  5. Tap Google.
  6. Tap Next.
  7. Tap Sign in.
  8. Enter Gmail email and password.
  9. Tap Sign in.
  10. Tap Next.
  11. Tap Finish setup.

 

 

Delete an email account

 

To delete an email account, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home  screen, tap the Applications icon.
  2. Tap Email.
  3. Tap the Menu key.
  4. Tap Accounts.
  5. Touch and hold the account you want to delete.
  6. Tap Remove account.
  7. Tap OK.
