Visual Voicemail: Huawei Summit

Learn how to access Visual Voicemail on the Huawei Summit.

 

 

 

 

Change greeting

 

To change the Visual Voicemail greeting, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications icon.
  2. Tap Visual Voicemail.
  3. Tap the Greetings tab.
  4. Tap the greeting you want to use or tap Record a new greeting.
  5. If recording a new greeting. tap the blue Record icon to beging recording.
  6. Tap the red Stop icon to stop recording.
  7. Tap Next.
  8. Enter a name for your greeting.
  9. If desired, tap the check box to make it your Default Greeting.
  10. Tap Next.

 

 

Change password

 

To change the Visual Voicemail password, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications icon.
  2. Tap Visual Voicemail.
  3. Tap the Greetings tab.
  4. Tap the Menu key.
  5. Tap Settings.
  6. Tap Change PIN.
  7. Enter your Current PIN in the text field. Note: The default PIN is the last four digits of your phone number.
  8. Enter your New PIN in the text field.
  9. Confirm your new PIN in the text field.
  10. Tap OK.

 

 

Listen to voicemail messages

 

To access Visual Voicemail and listen to new messages, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications icon.
  2. Tap Visual Voicemail.
  3. If necessary, tap the Messages tab.
  4. Tap the voicemail message you want to hear.
  5. Tap the blue Play icon to listen to the message.

 

 

Set up Visual Voicemail (VVM)

 

To set up Visual Voicemail the first time, follow these steps:

 

  1. Check that you are connected to the T-Mobile network. You may not be able to set up VVM over Wi-Fi.
  2. Check that you are connected to the T-Mobile network. You may not be able to set up VVM over Wi-Fi.
  3. From any Home screen, tap the Applications icon.
  4. Tap Visual Voicemail.
  5. Tap Next to enable Visual Voicemail and activate the feature for the first time.
  6. Tap Done.

 

 

Turn off
