Add SMS service center number

 

To add or change the SMS service center number, follow these steps:

 

Note: We're sorry, but you cannot change the service center number. Follow the below steps to view the current number.

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap Menu.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Scroll to and tap Applications settings.
  4. Tap Messaging.
  5. Tap Text message.
  6. Tap Text message center.
  7. Select one of the following:
    • Center 2
    • Center 3
    • Center 4
  8. If necessary tap the Arrows icon next to the service center number and edit the information.

 

 

Delete picture messages (MMS)

 

To delete picture messages (MMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap Menu.
  2. Tap Messaging.
  3. Tap Inbox.
  4. Navigate to and select the MMS you want to delete.
  5. Tap Delete.
  6. Tap Yes to confirm.

 

 

Delete text messages (SMS)

 

To delete text messages (SMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap Menu.
  2. Tap Messaging.
  3. Tap Inbox.
  4. Navigate to and select the SMS you want to delete.
  5. Tap Delete.
  6. Tap Yes to confirm.

 

 

Save pictures received in a message (MMS)

 

To save a picture you received as a picture message (MMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap Menu.
  2. Tap Messaging.
  3. Navigate to and select the MMS containing the picture(s) you want to save.
  4. Tap More.
  5. Scroll to and tap Save attachment.
  6. Select one of the following options:
    • Phone
    • Memory card
  7. Select the attachment(s) that you want to save.
  8. Tap Save.
