JUMP! gives you the freedom to upgrade your phone when you want, not when you're told. T-Mobile will pay the remaining balance on your Equipment Installment Plan (EIP), up to half of your original device purchase price. Any remaining EIP balance not covered by us will need to be paid by you at the time of the upgrade.
It is your responsibility and obligation to protect and secure any information on your device. You are responsible for removing data and personal information from your returned device, which includes, but is not limited to, SIM cards, memory cards, passwords, contacts, emails, pictures and calendars. Consult your device User Guide to learn how to erase or remove such information. You may keep your removable memory card. You are also responsible for resetting your device to factory settings and for disabling any passwords or locking features, such as Find My iPhone. Follow these steps to complete a JUMP! upgrade on My T-Mobile or visit a T-Mobile retail store:
- Go to My T-Mobile and log in to your account.
- Click SHOP near the top of the page.
- Click the Upgrade button. If you don't see this button, a JUMP! upgrade isn't available for you at this time.
- On the Select your device page, click the device you'd like to upgrade to, and follow the instructions to complete the JUMP! upgrade.
