Learn how to delete and save SMS and MMS messages on the HTC Amaze 4G.

 

 

 

 

Add SMS service center number

 

To add or change the SMS service center number, follow these steps:

 

Note: We're sorry, but you cannot change the service center number. Follow the below steps to view the current number.

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications applications.png icon.
  2. Scroll to and tap Messages.
  3. Tap the Menu image008.jpg key.
  4. Tap Settings.
  5. Tap Text messages (SMS).
  6. View the service center number.

 

 

Delete picture messages (MMS)

 

To delete picture messages (MMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications applications.png icon.
  2. Scroll to and tap Messages.
  3. Tap the desired message thread.
  4. Tap the Menu image008.jpg key.
  5. Tap Delete.
  6. Tap from the following choices:
    • Delete thread.
      1. Tap OK,
    • Delete by selection.
      • Note: This option is only available if the message thread contains two or more pictures.
      1. Tap to select each picture to be deleted by matching the send time that appears under the picture. If necessary, also match the sender’s telephone number.
      2. Tap Delete.

 

 

Delete text messages (SMS)

 

To delete text messages (SMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications applications.png icon.
  2. Scroll to and tap Messages.
  3. Tap the desired message thread.
  4. Scroll to and tap the message you want to delete.
  5. Tap Delete message.
  6. Tap OK.

 

 

Save pictures received in a message (MMS)

 

To save a picture you received as a picture message (MMS), follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Tap on desired message thread.
  3. Press and hold on desired picture.
  4. Tap Save.
