Add an email account manually

 

To set up an email account and manually enter the settings, follow these steps:

 

  1. Navigate to Home screen 3 and tap Setup.
  2. Tap Accounts.
    Note: If you have already logged into an account, then tap the Add account icon at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap Email, Calendar, and Contacts.
  4. Enter your email address and tap the Advanced icon at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Tap the desired email option:
    • Work account
    • Microsoft Exchange Activesync
    • Gmail
    • Hotmail
    • Yahoo!
    • IMAP
    • POP
    • CalDAV
    • CardDAV
  6. Enter the required settings (fields with the star).
    Note: The fields you will need to fill out will vary depending on which email account you select.
  7. Tap Done or Next.
  8. If you tapped Next, continue to follow the prompts to enter the desired settings.

 

 

Add a BlackBerry account

 

To set up a BlackBerry email account, follow these steps:

 

Log into your BlackBerry Email

We're sorry, BlackBerry Email (@tmo.blackberry.net) is not supported on BlackBerry 10.

 

 

 

Log into your BlackBerry ID

  1. Navigate to Home screen 3 and tap Setup.
  2. Tap BlackBerry ID.
  3. Tap Sign in.
  4. Enter your credentials. Tap the Sign in icon (check mark inside folder).

 

 

Delete an email account

 

To delete an email account, follow these steps:

 

  1. Navigate to Home screen 3 and tap Setup.
  2. Tap Accounts.
  3. Tap the desired account.
  4. Choose one of the following options:

    • Delete entire email account
      1. Tap the Trash can icon to delete everything associated with your email account (email, calendar, contacts).
      2. Tap Delete.

    • Delete email account category
      1. Tap the desired email category (for example, contacts)
      2. Tap the Trash can icon and then tap Delete.
