Camera settings: BlackBerry Q10

Learn how to change camera settings on the BlackBerry Q10.

 

 

 

 

Settings

 

To change the settings for taking and displaying pictures, follow these steps:

 

  1. Navigate to Home screen 3.
  2. Tap Camera.
  3. Touch the Status bar and drag it down.
  4. For the following settings, tap the Switch to move it to On or Off.

    • Save Pictures on Media Card
    • Geotag pictures
    • HDR Photo Capture

  5. Tap the < icon to return to Camera mode.
  6. Tap the Menu icon at bottom-right.
  7. Tap to adjust the following settings:

    • Switch Camera
    • Shooting mode
    • Scene
    • Flash
    • Aspect Ratio

  8. Tap outside the Settings menu to return to Camera mode .
  9. Tap the Camera icon and then tap the corresponding icon for the following shooting modes:
    • Face detection mode
    • Camcorder mode
    • Face detection

 

 

Set default camera storage

 

To change if the camera stores pictures on the internal memory (ROM) or SD card, follow these steps:

 

  1. Navigate to Home screen 3.
  2. Tap Camera.
  3. Touch the Status bar and drag it down and tap Settings.
  4. Choose one of the following options:

    • To set external media card as default storage

               Tap the 'Save Pictures on Media Card' Switch to On. The Switch moves right and fill with color.

    • To set internal device memory as default storage

               Tap the 'Save Pictures on Media Card' Switch to Off. The Switch moves left and turns dark.
