Enter symbols & numbers


To enter symbols and numbers with the keyboard, follow these steps:


  1. To open the keyboard, touch the bottom of the screen with two fingers and slide up.
  2. Tap the ?123 key.
  3. Tap the number or symbol keys as necessary to add them to the text field.
  4. If necessary, tap the &% key to view more symbols.
  5. Tap the ABC key to return to the alphabet keyboard.



Text entry mode


To change the text entry or predictive text mode, follow these steps:


  1. From any Home screen, touch the Status bar and slide down.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Language and Input.
  4. Scroll down to 'Text Input,' and tap Prediction and Correction.
  5. Tap the Show Predictions switch to turn on or turn off predictive text.
  6. Tap the Auto-Correct with Spacebar switch to turn on or turn off auto-correct.
  7. Adjust other settings as necessary.
