Learn how to delete and save SMS and MMS messages on the T-Mobile 4G Mobile HotSpot (MF61).

 

 

 

 

Add SMS service center number (Original software "Green" only)

 

To add or change the SMS service center number, follow these steps:

 

Note: We're sorry, but you cannot change the service center number. Follow the below steps to view the current number.

 

  1. Connect your computer to your Mobile Hotspot via Wi-Fi.
  2. On your computer, double-click the T-Mobile Hotspot Admin icon on your desktop or open a browser window and enter http://mobile.hotspot/.
  3. Enter your administrator password and click Login.
  4. Note: The default administrator password is admin.
  5. Click Text Message.
  6. Click Settings.

  7. Change one or more of the following options:
    • Validity (length of time to attempt to deliver a message)
    • Center Number (the message center phone number)
    • Delivery Report(enable or disable message delivery report)
      • Note: It is recommended that you accept default settings and do not change them unless you are an advanced user. If you have problems using your Mobile Hotspot after you change a setting, it is recommended that you reset the device to factory default settings.
  8. Click Save.

 

 

Delete picture messages (MMS)

 

To delete picture messages (MMS), follow these steps:

Delete text messages (SMS)

 

To delete text messages (SMS), follow these steps:

 

Original software "Green"

  1. onnect your computer to your Mobile Hotspot via Wi-Fi.
  2. On your computer, double-click the T-Mobile Hotspot Admin icon on your desktop or open a browser window and enter http://mobile.hotspot/.
  3. Enter your administrator password and click Login.
    • Note: The default administrator password is admin.
  4. Click Text Message.
  5. Click Messages.

  6. Click Inbox.
  7. Click the check box of the message you want to delete.
  8. Click Delete.
    • Note: To delete all messages, click Delete All.
  9. Click OK.

  1. Connect your computer to your Mobile Hotspot via Wi-Fi.
  2. On your computer, double-click the T-Mobile Hotspot Admin icon on your desktop or open a browser window and enter http://mobile.hotspot/.
  3. Enter your administrator password and click Login.
    • Note: The default administrator password is admin.
  4. Click SMS.

  5. Carry out one of the following options:
    • To delete an entire Conversation thread, click the Trash can icon inside the desired Conversation thread listing.
    • To delete an individual text message, click the desired Conversation thread and then hover your cursor over the desired text message and click the X icon.

 

 

Save pictures received in a message (MMS)

 

To save a picture you received as a picture message (MMS), follow these steps:
