Learn how to access Visual Voicemail on the T-Mobile Prism II.

 

 

 

 

Change greeting

 

To change the Visual Voicemail greeting, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications icon.
  2. Scroll to and tap Visual Voicemail.
  3. Tap the Menu key.
  4. Tap Settings.
  5. Tap Greetings.
  6. Perform one of the following actions:
    • Use a saved greeting
      • Select a saved greeting to use.
    • Record a new greeting
      1. Tap Add New.
      2. If necessary, edit the greeting name.
      3. Tap Record to begin recording.
      4. Tap Stop recording to end recording.
      5. Tap Save. Your new greeting will be automatically set as your active greeting.

Change password

 

To change the Visual Voicemail password, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications icon.
  2. Scroll to and tap Visual Voicemail.
  3. Tap the Menu key.
  4. Tap Settings.
  5. Tap Change PIN.
  6. Enter your current PIN
  7. Tap the Enter new PIN field and enter your new PIN.
  8. Tap the Re-enter new PIN field and confirm your new PIN.
  9. Tap OK.

 

 

Listen to voicemail messages

 

To access Visual Voicemail and listen to new messages, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications icon.
  2. Scroll to and tap Visual Voicemail.
  3. Select the voicemail message you want to listen to.
  4. Tap the Play icon.

 

 

Set up Visual Voicemail (VVM)

 

To set up Visual Voicemail the first time, follow these steps:

 

  1. Check that you are connected to the T-Mobile network. You may not be able to set up VVM over Wi-Fi.
  2. From any Home screen, tap the Applications icon.
  3. Scroll to and tap Visual Voicemail.
  4. Tap Next to activate your Visual Voicemail, and then tap Done.

 

 

Turn off

 

To turn off or disable Visual Voicemail, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap Manage apps.
  3. Navigate to and select Visual Voicemail.
  4. Tap Disable.
  5. Tap OK.
