Delete Wi-Fi network profile

 

To delete a saved Wi-Fi network profile, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Wireless and network tap Wi-Fi.
  4. If necessary, tap to select the Wi-Fi box to turn on and enable.
  5. Tap the Wi-Fi network you want to delete.
  6. Tap Forget.

Note: If the Wi-Fi network is still in-range, the device will still show it in the list of available networks, however the connection configuration will be deleted.

 

 

Scan & connect to Wi-Fi network

 

To scan for and connect to available Wi-Fi networks, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Wireless and network tap Wi-Fi.
  4. If necessary, tap to select the Wi-Fi box to turn on and enable.
  5. Tap Scan.
  6. Tap the network you want to connect to.
  7. If security is enabled, enter the password.
  8. Tap Connect.

 

 

Turn on / off Wi-Fi

 

To turn on or turn off Wi-Fi, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, touch and drag the Status bar down.
  2. Tap the Wi-Fi icon to enable
