Visual Voicemail: Samsung Galaxy Note II (T889)

Change greeting

 

To change the Visual Voicemail greeting, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Tap Visual Voicemail.
  3. Tap the Greetings tab.

To change to an existing greeting:

    1. Tap the existing greeting.
    2. Next to 'Mark Default Greeting,' tap the check box to select the check box.

To record a new greeting:

    1. Tap Record a new greeting.
      Note: If necessary, delete an existing greeting (limit of 2 greetings) to make room for the new greeting: Tap the Menu key, tap Delete greetings, tap the check box next to the desired greeting, and then tap Delete.
    2. Tap the Record to record your greeting.
    3. Tap theStop recording to stop recording.
    4. If desired, tap the Play icon to listen to the greeting.
    5. Tap Next.
    6. Enter a name for the greeting.
    7. Next to 'Mark Default Greeting,' tap the check box to select the check box.
    8. Tap Next.

 

 

Change password

 

To change the Visual Voicemail password, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Tap Visual Voicemail.
  3. Tap the Menu key.
  4. Tap Settings.                
  5. Tap Change PIN.
  6. Enter the current PIN and then tap OK.
  7. Enter the new PIN, then enter again to confirm.
  8. Tap OK.

 

 

Listen to voicemail messages

 

To access Visual Voicemail and listen to new messages, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Tap Visual Voicemail.
  3. Tap the Messages tab.
  4. Tap the desired message from the list.
  5. Tap the Play icon.

 

 

Set up Visual Voicemail (VVM)

 

To set up Visual Voicemail the first time, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Tap Visual Voicemail.
  3. Read the information and then tap Next. Tap Done.
  4. If necessary, follow any additional prompts.

 

 

Turn off

 

To turn off or disable Visual Voicemail, follow these steps:

 

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Application manager.
  4. Swipe left to the ALL screen.
  5. Swipe up and tap Visual Voicemail.
  6. Tap Disable and then tap OK.
    Note: Visual Voicemail is now stored at the bottom of the list (not in alphabetical order) when you disable the app.
